We had the honor of talking with these movers and shakers about leadership in their industries and moving from chasing success to pursuing significance by making an impact in our community. Kevin Brown is a native of San Diego and has been practicing and serving clients as a CPA since 1982. The first six years of his career were spent with KPMG Peat Marwick, a Multi-National CPA firm, as an Audit Manager responsible for managing and coordinating audits in the financial services, real estate, government and not-for-profit industries. Kevin has provided financial, tax and consulting services to RBTK’s clients since 1990 and is responsible for the overall management and strategic planning services of the firm. Kevin has significant expertise in providing business, strategic planning and consulting services to our clients with a focus on their overall business and individual goals. Through his work with clients Kevin has developed strong relationships with banks, bonding and insurance companies and legal professionals. These relationships provide a tremendous value assisting clients in various aspects of their practice. Kevin embodies pursuing significance through youth mentorship and empowering community organizations, like Bayside Community Center in Linda Vista, of which he is the president of the board.
We also had the privilege to talk with David Morris about the ways he is thinking outside of the box in his industry to better educate and inform agents and clients on how home appraisals work. David Morris has been performing residential property appraisals in San Diego County and Southern California for over 13 years. He holds a Certified Residential appraisal license and is a FHA/HUD accredited appraiser.
